The Garden House Party is back! NYE 12/13

Date: 09.11.2012.

After last years sucess we've decided to come back to Brighton and host the Garden House Party yet again.

A small and intimate affair by the sea side, The Garden House party is limited to 350 people so they'll be less ques and more dancing. We transform the venue into a house for the night to create an old school party atmosphere. On the night you'll be treated to music from the likes of:

Psychemagik

You may know that the hunt for rare records and making beats are the forces that drive them. Psychemagik’s reputation as “the go to guys” for ultra-rare records is undisputed. If lost, let them find you whatever your heart desires. Many of us crave the romance that is vinyl in this digitally orientated age. Its’ touch, the mesmerising qualities of spin…. Breath-taking. Many seek them out to track down things thought impossible. Counting, amongst many others, are the satisfied and influential names of Soulwax, Lovefingers, Q-Tip, Fake Blood, Tom Middleton & Faze Action.

Ron Basejam

Ron Basejam is the anagrammed alter-ego of Crazy P co-founder, James Baron.

Started as a ‘no pressure’ side project in 2006, Baron wanted to capture the more diverse and quirky sides of his musical tastes and create underground music with character, personality and humour.

His first 12” release – ‘For the People, By the People’ on Winding Road immediately got noticed for it’s infectious hook and anthemic vibe and is now considered by some to be a fore-runner to today’s slo-mo house sound.

Constantly working on material whilst pedaling his wares with Crazy P it wasn’t untill 2010, when his solo album ‘Deep & Meaningless’ was released on Yam Who’s ISM imprint, that things started to take off. ‘Into my Life’ off the album was picked up by Gilles Peterson for his Brownswood Bubblers series. Such was his love affair with the tune, Giles could not help dropping it on three consecutive Radio 1 show’s. praise indeed.

The album was followed by a rather large remix of Alena’s ‘Changes’ for ISM which saw plays from DJ’s as diverse as Magda to Greg Wilson, Greg charting it as the number 1 tune in his 2011 end of year chart. The remix also featured in DJ History’s top 50 tunes of the year.

Up to date and following his very well received ‘Life in Headphones’ EP for Redux, Ron has been continuing to take his remixes into the stratosphere, remixing the likes of The White Lamp, Trujillio, Soulclap and Wolf Music’s James Wells to devastating effect.

Get ready for some Ron!

Joe 90 - Futureboogie

Fast approaching it’s tenth year in the land of club, the Futureboogie name has now spawned a many headed beast.

What originally started as a simple club night in good old Bristol town back in 2001, Futureboogie nows rolls with global radio shows, a booking agency, management company, a list of parties and worldwide DJ bookings as long as a long armed man, excursions into festival programming and, most recently, Futureboogie Recordings.

Over the last 10 years the cast of the Futureboogie team has changed but original members Joe90 and El Harvo are still holding things down, keeping all the plates spinning, and making things go bump in the night.

With a kaleidoscopic musical taste the list of parties they put on, played at, and danced at is as long as the list of international DJs and live acts that they have appeared alongside.

Futureboogie. After all this time, we still don’t know what it really is. Someone once called it ‘the dancefloor of days to come’. We like that. And really, it’s many things to many people.
